It’s so important to remember to have fun with your dog (even more so when you’re working through other behavioural issues), and scentwork is a brilliant way to connect, work as a team and tap into your dog’s natural instincts while having a great time together.

Scentwork teaches dogs to search for and locate a specific scent, putting their incredible ability to hunt using their nose to work! It’s a brilliant activity to meet their breed needs, providing fantastic mental enrichment and teaching them that they can both sniff and explore in a way that is connected to you (particularly helpful if your dog blows off recall for scent out and about)!
